Editorial Policy
Content is published under the MortgageCalcMaster editorial team workflow, currently led by the site operator, reviewed against public mortgage and consumer-finance sources, and updated when assumptions, formulas, or product behavior materially change.
What We Publish
MortgageCalcMaster is an independent educational publisher and mortgage planning tool, operated as a solo-built project. We are not a lender, broker, lead generator, or advisory firm. We publish mortgage calculators, scenario planning tools, and explanatory guides for home buying, affordability, amortization, PMI, and refinancing. All calculators and guides are intended for education and planning. They do not replace lender disclosures or advice from licensed professionals.
How Content Is Reviewed
- Formula-driven pages are checked against the calculation logic used in the product.
- Educational pages are reviewed for clarity, claim accuracy, and consistency with cited references.
- Material revisions update the visible review date so readers can judge freshness.
Source Standards
- Government and GSE sources such as CFPB, HUD, FHFA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, VA, and USDA are preferred for core mortgage concepts.
- Product copy is updated when formulas, assumptions, or cited guidance materially change.
- Pages that rely on scenario estimates are labeled as examples rather than live market offers.
AI and Automation
We may use software assistance to draft outlines, generate design assets, or accelerate routine editorial tasks. Final publishing decisions, formula choices, references, and trust disclosures are reviewed by the MortgageCalcMaster team before release.
Updates and Reader Feedback
We review major pages on a recurring basis and revise them when formulas, assumptions, or source guidance materially change. If you spot a factual issue, email support@mortgagecalcmaster.com and include the page URL.
