About MortgageCalcMaster

MortgageCalcMaster is an independent educational publisher and mortgage planning tool, operated as a solo-built project. We are not a lender, broker, lead generator, or advisory firm.

Model: Independent publisher Workflow: Editorial + product + QA review Last reviewed: March 2026

What We Publish

Content is published under the MortgageCalcMaster editorial team workflow, currently led by the site operator, reviewed against public mortgage and consumer-finance sources, and updated when assumptions, formulas, or product behavior materially change.

MortgageCalcMaster is built for mortgage planning and education. We do not arrange loans, match users with lenders, or provide individualized financial advice. The product is designed to help users inspect affordability, payment structure, refinance tradeoffs, and amortization before talking to a licensed professional.

The site is independently operated, but product updates, editorial review, and QA are handled as separate publishing checks so the work stays consistent as the project grows.

How the Workflow Is Split

Although the site is independently operated, product logic, editorial review, and QA are handled as distinct checks so formulas, explanations, and publishing standards can be reviewed independently.

The public editorial-team label reflects that workflow rather than a large newsroom. Today, one operator runs these checks sequentially before major updates are published.

Mortgage calculators and assumptions

Product and Calculations

Maintains mortgage formulas, validates decision logic, and reviews scenario outputs before shipping updates.

Guides, references, and disclosures

Editorial Review

Checks plain-language explanations against source material and updates pages when assumptions or policy references change.

Publishing checks and edge cases

Quality Assurance

Tests calculations, accessibility, and page consistency so tool behavior and trust disclosures stay aligned.

Publishing Standards

Transparent assumptions

Each calculator explains what is included, what is estimated, and what still depends on lender underwriting.

Primary-source review

Government and GSE sources such as CFPB, HUD, FHFA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, VA, and USDA are preferred for core mortgage concepts.

Privacy by default

Mortgage calculator inputs are processed in your browser during normal use. Optional analytics and advertising load only when configured and permitted by your consent choices.

Planning-first product

All calculators and guides are intended for education and planning. They do not replace lender disclosures or advice from licensed professionals.

How We Publish and Correct

Editorial, correction, and operator disclosures live in dedicated pages so users and reviewers can inspect how the site is maintained.
