Corrections workflow

Corrections Policy

We treat factual and calculation errors as publishing issues, not reader support noise. This page explains how correction requests are reviewed and reflected on the site.

Last reviewed: March 2026 Primary channel: support@mortgagecalcmaster.com Scope: Content, formulas, assumptions, source updates

How to Report a Problem

Email support@mortgagecalcmaster.com with the affected page URL, a short description of the issue, and any supporting source or screenshot that helps verify the problem.

What Happens Next

  • We confirm whether the issue is factual, editorial, product, or source-related.
  • If the issue is valid, we update the affected page or calculation logic.
  • Material revisions are reflected in the visible review date on the updated page.
  • If the issue changes a calculator result or recommendation pattern, we review nearby pages for the same problem.

Types of Corrections

Minor Edits

Grammar, formatting, or wording cleanups that do not change the substance of the content.

Substantive Edits

Changes to formulas, numerical examples, assumptions, or factual claims that affect reader interpretation.

Source Refreshes

Reference changes made when a cited organization updates guidance, definitions, or program details.

Reader Expectations

MortgageCalcMaster publishes educational mortgage content, not live lender offers. We correct mistakes, but readers should still confirm loan-specific details with lenders, servicers, and licensed professionals before acting.
